Frustration

So here's today's situation. Next saturday Nov 19th is my birthdaay and unfortunality my spouse is working. He had asked me to watch the kids, i told him i would until that early evening. We have plans to go out of town on Sunday morning, as a get away right before thanksgiving. So here it is sunday the week before and i get a text that his ex wife has plans so now i have the kids all night saturday night... bummed yes.. then we have to take the kids to her sunday morning before we can even leave... Maybe it seems childish but its not like they acknowledge my birthday, I go out of my way for theirs and was looking forward to a night alone but i guess not now...
